Classic Game Review: 15 Strike Eagle

After dispatched a MiG 21 Syrian territory with a short-ranged missile attack (SRAM), continuing the flight to my primary target of the Syrian air command. Radar takes four missiles surface-to-air (SAMS) and two enemy aircraft on an intercept course. Arming a missile varied way (MDR), fire in the first aircraft. Turning my attention to four SAMS, send two rockets and initiate electronic countermeasures (ECM). Two missiles disappear from my radar screen. A third explodes on a flare. I look at my impact on the first aircraft missile and my computer screen blinking message "Enemy Plane hit".

Rapidly approaching the target. What do I arming bombs, plunge into my target ignoring the last enemy aircraft and SAM. Dropping bombs, hoist and see on my screen, the goal is reached. I immediately moves to the line a secondary target, WHAM! WHAM! I am struck by the last SAM and an enemy SRAM last enemy aircraft withdrawing the wild diving; I am treated with an enemy aircraft guns hail.Too weak to bail my mission ends as I slamming into the ground! This is the action in F-15 most recent game prose micro strike EAGLE.

The action is fast and furious. No attention or, conversely, too much focus on a target can lead to disaster. The game has three levels of play. Arcade level is deliberately simple so that you can get accustomed to the game.It allows no roller. The level of driver simulates the situation in a real airplane with rollers, loops, etc.The ACE is the most difficult. He SAMS, heat for missiles and enemy planes are difficult to avoid.

The graphics are excellent, much better than MIG ALLEY prose micro ACE. The game has a 3D by cockpit display. Not only are there air targets, but the targets on the ground.Bombing targets on the ground, while dodging enemy aircraft and missiles, is your goal principal.Malheureusement, targets on the ground are only triangles on the ground, not the buildings I expected to see. This, however, is minor and not detract from the game. As a driver, you're treated with cockpit display and a heads up display (HUD).

The HUD includes a display card navigation shows the enemy base and your position in the aircraft; and a radar screen which can be set in the short, medium or long term. This exhibition shows SAM launches, had enemies and targets on the ground as they come into view. The radar are four light showing the radar lock lock from the infra-red heat source low altitude (less than 600 feet) and fuel warning low. And a status display (WSD) in the form of a picture of your aircraft weapons showing all weapons on your device.

At the bottom centre is the amount of fuel in the tanks. The centre is the point of view of the cockpit. They pitch lines to show the aircraft attitude and an air to air (putting enemy aircraft in the centre of this gun hits note) .a indicative objective air box reticle (showing where an enemy aircraft approach will appear) and a box of missiles (showing where a missile approaching will appear) designation is also included. These boxes are moving as regards your aircraft and aircraft movement of missiles and enemies. A driver can Bank, roll, diving and doing other maneuvers. You can make a Split S, Jinking, high/low speed yoyos, loops, and any other combat maneuver you deem necessary. All these are explained in the excellent documentation included in the game.

The only problem with the game is a failure in the documentation. The manual explains you will need to return to the base after completing a mission to rearm, refuel and repair your plane. This means your base landing. No where in the documentation it tell you how to land. After several attempts and several accidents.

I found that you need to approach it based below 1,000 feet and you are automatically landed production order-15 has seven missions.Six are based on historical situations and one is hypothétique.Mission selection is done only at the beginning of the jeu.Les six historic missions are the Libya (1981), Egypt (1973), Haiphong (1972), Syria (1984), Hanoi (1972) and Iraq (1981) .the hypothetical mission is the peninsula Arabian (1984) list.it together, the F-15 is an excellent simulation.Si you liked MiG Alley Ace, you'll love F - 15!
