In this simulation of sail, you are invited to the master of a ship from Clipper 1850s to fame and fortune. IDP included a cassette to the narrative voice, but the tape is not necessary to play the game. After my third trip, I tired of listening to the sounds of the sea and an option on the program to ignore the cassette. After the game starts, you pass through a phase of Setup in which you must choose the size of your ship, quantity of cargo, the number of crew and amount of supplies.

As the object of the game is to navigate in San Francisco with a large cargo can be sold at a large profit, the largest ship, best navigate you your high potential. However, the larger vessels require more crew and provisions more.He is also a good idea to hire a crew more than necessary because many unforeseen events will be cut your crew to the strict minimum to voyage.enfin, when selection provisions allow enough for a long journey, as Miss supply can lead to the mutiny and rapid defeat.

The game plays from bridge of a ship clipper, display graphics .the ' display contains information about the speed wind direction, vessel position and direction, and per cent currently set sail. The joystick is used to modify the course or as a percentage of the veil and change log ship card and return to bridge deck screens.

Ships log provides much valuable which current position latitude and longitude, number of days in New York, provisions left ships information and status of the crew.View the map shows the position of your vessel towards the North, Central and South America. You navigate the ship amending your course to get the most out of the wind direction.

As you sail, many dangers will be encountered as mutiny, disease, storms, waves of thugs and reefs submergés.Le game played well, but I found that the constant shifts in the wind to be somewhat frustrant.Le book teaching is very useful and provides many tips on how to play this jeu.Il also includes a little history on the clipper ships and assistance to plays to help marine novices to keep their Clipper on courses.
